The Job :	Your key responsibility will be to set up an effective vendor base and an efficient procurement system. The KRAs will be: - Identifying and developing suitable vendors - Setting up of quality systems in the vendor premises in line with QS 9000 standards - Implementing an integrated material planing and inventory controls system - Constantly working towards cost reduction and quality upgradation

Qualifications and Experience:	You will be a Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineer, 38 – 45 years of age, currently handling a reasonable large material procurement and vendor development function in the Engineering /Auto industry. Prior exposure to developing castings, forgings and machined parts would be an advantage. You should bring in expertise and conceptual skills required to set up an integrated material planing and procurement system. Prior exposure to QS 9000 will be desirable.
