Manufacturing Manager for a Cement Plant in KSA will be placed in charge of Manufacturing
Preference will be accorded to candidates with successful track records in large, profit-oriented cement companies (preferably from Lafarge / Holcim etc).
It is best that applicants for the above posting be relatively young in age with proven excellence in their work experience.
They must be open-minded and be able to cope with leading employees of varied nationalities.
Must be technology oriented in their respective fields with ample knowledge in the use and exploitation of modern, up to date computer systems and applications.

| Basic Function : |
Meets the Sales & Logistics Plan through efficient and effective operations of all production lines and support facilities by providing products of the right quality and specification at the right time. Safeguards the plant assets through enlightened operation management supported by planned maintenance while seeking to optimize process flows; minimize materials consumption and wastage / scrap. Demonstrates concern for staff and the community; seeking high performance from employees against demanding targets and ensuring their appropriate development; safeguarding health and the impact on the environment. Complying with all Policies and Procedures including Operational and Safety requirements while meeting targets in accordance with Capital and Operational Budgets. At all times demonstrates a commitment to meet the needs of stakeholders, instilling confidence in plant operations.

| Minimum Requirements : |
University Degree in Engineering from an approved institution; MBA also an advantage; post-graduate training in Cement development, process development and other related studies also an advantage. 12 - 15 years experience in cement industry of which at least 8 years in a senior position. Needs to be familiar with the range of cement technologies (European & Asian) and the types of production lines in operation at the plant. Able to manage stress; good time manager; fit with excellent health record. Knowledge of Arabic desirable; Good speaking, reading and writing knowledge of English. Computer literate: able to prepare internal reports. Familiarity with the new plant consisting of 2 production lines which apply a pre-heating/pre-calcining cement production process. Knowledge & understanding of business standards at an international level and at the national level.
