The Job : |
The MNC is organising itself on global systems of Training and Development and will be process centered with appropriate Appraisal systems. Additionally, the company aims to achieve its mission by creating an environment that fosters employee enthusiasm through distinct innovative practices. To participate in this process the company needs you. You would participate in the OD intervention that is planned and in identifying the Human Resources Development needs. You would be fully involved in developing and implementing an Appraisal system. Another key element of his tasks would involve assessment of training needs and developing on a hands on basis such training programmes. Training will form an important aspect of this assignment, which includes
(1) Evaluating Training needs of the Organisation and Employees including technical training.
(2) Co-ordinating with external agencies for conducting Training.
(3)Running a Training Center for Workmen and staff
(4) Handling Training Programmes for the Staff & Managers
(5)Conducting Training Personally
(6) Preparing Annual Training Calendar& Implementing programs.
(7) Creating and implementing policies for the participation of Employees (at all levels) in Seminars, Workshops and Executive Training Programmes.
(8)Monitoring Training effectiveness post implementation
(9)Managing & monitoring Branch Innovation.
The candidate will have a strong quantitative aptitude (comfort with numbers and in measuring HR interventions), and will be sensitive to people problems. The performance yardstick will be the extent to which the candidate is able to make an impact by being pro-active, balanced and being able to increase the "circle of influence" in an environment of growth, transition and glasnost. |
| Experience : |
The candidate should have 8-12 years experience in HR & IR.
Excellent communication / Organisation / Computer skills are required. You should be able to organise large training seminars and be a confident communicator / public speaker. You will be responsible for all training needs in our client’s organisation, including assessing staff training needs, planning sessions and performing training personally.
The person considered will have excellent HR & training experience, with a capability of planning and implementing a large scale training programme among various officers in the country.
